Festival High

I'm not entirely sold on "flatforms" but these ones by Jeffrey Campbell have me wanting to
at least try on a pair. They do seem comfortable, right? Definitely the kind of shoes you could slop around in all summer without killing your feet too badly. But what do you all think about flatforms - awesome or awful? Have I just been so overexposed to them that I've lost my mind?

PS - Happy Easter to those who celebrate it!

Winding path

Thrifted sweater; Mavi jeans from Ideeli; Jeffrey Campbell Nation boots; Vintage necklaces;
Foley + Corinna bag; Forever 21 and Vintage rings; Burberry sunglasses

The weather is so bipolar lately! Sunny one day, snowing the next. But I'm pretty sure I talk about the weather wayyyyy too much on this blog.

This past weekend was one of the best in a while - for shopping! I scored a $2 Miu Miu dress, won a free pair of Hudson jeans on Twitter, and found and bought my new favorite shorts with the Lord & Taylor Friends and Family discount. I think I'm set on clothes for a while! So of course I've moved on to shoes. Currently lusting after these tribal print sandals from Free People and the perfect ankle boots by Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony. Here's hoping I can find some ridiculous discount for those babies!

The Outnet 2nd Birthday Sale!

Before I say anything else, I have to give all of you a HUGE thank you!! Yesterday I found out I won a ticket to The Outnet's $2 Birthday Sale as one of the top 200 referrers, so the only reason I am even writing this post is because my wonderful readers signed up for the sale through my link. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This morning was the huge Outnet 2nd birthday sale that I first told you guys about here. I set two separate alarms to remind me when the sale was about to begin, but of course I was sitting at the computer obsessively refreshing my inbox long before either went off. When the email arrived, I immediately started having a mini-panic-attack, and any strategy I had formed in my head went out the window! I went first for the bags, but the Fendi and Antik Batik ones I had my eye on were already sold out. So I moved onto the dresses, saw the one pictured above in size 2 and went for it! My hands were shaking so much I could barely type in my credit card number, but the transaction went through and I am now the proud owner of a $2,000 Miu Miu dress for just $2 - free shipping and everything!

I'm a bit addicted to the thrill of the find, so I've been following what other people won through Twitter. Kimberly of Third Avenue Princess scored a red Moschino clutch, Becki of Shopping is my Cardio bought a $4,500 Valentino jacket, and Isabel of Walk of Fashion got a Donna Karen crepe vest - all for just $2!

If you won a ticket to the $2/£2 sale I'd love to hear what you scored! And if you didn't win a ticket, The Outnet is offering a 20% off coupon code for you all - check your emails!

diViene

diViene Twisted Sterling Silver Black Onyx Heart ring; Amrita Singh oval ring; Sephora by OPI nail polish in "Arm Candy"

A little while back I was contacted by diViene to pick any piece of jewelry from their online shop and review it on my blog. I'm kind of a jewelry addict, so there was no way I was going to turn this opportunity down! diViene stocks custom made rings, pendants, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets made of high quality metals and gemstones. I chose the "Twisted Sterling Silver Stackable Ring with Large Heart, Genuine Black Onyx Stone" to review because it was available in a size 4 (I have ridiculously small fingers!) and I loved the heart shaped stone. Each piece of diViene jewelry is custom made, so once I placed my order it took a few days for the ring to be hand crafted and shipped out to me, but it was worth the wait! When the ring arrived it was everything I hoped for! It fit my middle finger perfectly, the onyx stone is dark and pure, and the twisted design on the band is a nice touch. diViene offers free shipping and a 360 day warranty on all jewelry, so you have nothing to lose by trying them out! I'm already deciding on my next purchase - I'm torn between the birthstone rings in emerald (I'm a May baby!) and these adorable floral earrings that are available in every color under the sun!

Follow diViene on Twitter and Facebook, and be sure to check out their online shop!

Can't stand the rain

Thrifted sweater; Vintage tee; Hue leggings; Vintage Justin boots; Balenciaga bag; H&M umbrella;
Burberry sunglasses; Vintage necklaces; Vintage and Forever 21 rings

Here's a very typical everyday Ashley outfit. Skinny bottoms, giant sweater, and flats. I can't wait until summer to mix things up a bit - at least the snow is turning into rain, so that must mean the sunshine isn't too far off... right?

On a different note, have you all heard about The Outnet's $2 birthday sale? They are giving away 2,000 tickets to an exclusive sale where all of their designer goods will cost only $2! I've already entered myself - can you imagine scoring some Alexander Wang or Burberry for just $2? Click here to sign up for a chance, and be sure to tell me if you get an invite - I'd love to know what you end up buying!

Wanted

Sorry for the long gap between blog posts, I've been running around working on everything and accomplishing nothing this past week, but I didn't forget about you guys! I'm going to be spending all afternoon catching up on your blogs! But first I wanted to share a picture of these lovely crochet boots Wanted Shoes sent over a few weeks back. I've been waiting until the rain and snow let up to wear them, and it looks like it might be nice enough to break them out this coming week! These boots are available to buy at Wanted Shoes, Nasty Gal, and Urban Outfitters in white, brown, and black.

Also, I wanted to give a huge thank you to Rika at Fashion Blogger Revealed for interviewing me and featuring Breakfast at Saks! Thanks Rika!
