Williamsburg Bridge

Gap tee; Tracy Reese skirt; Matisse sandals; Foley + Corinna Disco City bag; Vintage necklace;
diViene ring (also seen here); Burberry sunglasses

Happy 4th of July weekend to my American readers! I hope you all are binging out on barbecue and beer and enjoying your long weekend - I know I will be! The offices where my internship is located are closed all of next week, and I'm looking forward to exploring the city more. I haven't been to Brooklyn yet - do you guys have any suggestions for places I need to check out there? I definitely want to go thrifting, but I have no idea of where to start!

Also, I'm happy to announce the winner of the Sebastian giveaway with Polyvore! Breanne won the set of Sebastian products with her Polyvore collage titled "Hard edged yellow" - check it out here. Congrats Breanne!

Winding path

Thrifted sweater; Mavi jeans from Ideeli; Jeffrey Campbell Nation boots; Vintage necklaces;
Foley + Corinna bag; Forever 21 and Vintage rings; Burberry sunglasses

The weather is so bipolar lately! Sunny one day, snowing the next. But I'm pretty sure I talk about the weather wayyyyy too much on this blog.

This past weekend was one of the best in a while - for shopping! I scored a $2 Miu Miu dress, won a free pair of Hudson jeans on Twitter, and found and bought my new favorite shorts with the Lord & Taylor Friends and Family discount. I think I'm set on clothes for a while! So of course I've moved on to shoes. Currently lusting after these tribal print sandals from Free People and the perfect ankle boots by Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony. Here's hoping I can find some ridiculous discount for those babies!

Valentine's Giveaway - Win a Foley + Corinna bag from Runway Rundown

Happy early Valentine's Day, lovely readers! This year to celebrate the holiday of love I have joined forces with Runway Rundown and Foley + Corinna to give away a Globetrotter bag in ruby red to one lucky Breakfast at Saks reader! Read on to find out how you can win!

Runway Rundown is a daily fashion blog that recreates expensive designer looks for less. Runway Rundown was founded by Kim, whose wildest dream is "to live in a house that is entirely a walk in closet" (with you on that one!), and Jamie, who would like to win a webby (hint hint to whoever is in charge of those!). Runway Rundown allows you to search outfits by price, designer, season, color, and more, making it easy to recreate just about every outfit you see come down the runway!

In order to enter to win a Foley + Corinna Globetrotter bag from Runway Rundown and Breakfast at Saks, donated generously from the fabulous people over at Foley + Corinna, here is what you need to do:

The rules:
1. You must be a follower of Breakfast at Saks either on Google Friend Connect (located in the upper right sidebar of this blog) or Bloglovin', AND a follower of Runway Rundown on Facebook
2. You must register for Foley + Corinna's email list - you will get a $25 gift card to their online store for doing so!

For extra entries:
1. 1 extra entry for tweeting or blogging about this giveaway - then come back and comment with a link to your tweet/blog post
2. 5 extra entries for creating a user account on Runway Rundown - be sure to come back and comment that you did
3. 1 extra entry for becoming a fan of Foley + Corinna on Facebook - again, come back and comment that you did so!

Please leave a separate comment for each of the extra entries you complete. This giveaway is open to the US and Canada only (sorry international readers, I will have something coming up for you soon!), and will run for 1 week - I will announce the winner on Friday, February 18th. Good luck everybody, and Happy Valentine's Day!

American Apparel jacket; Navajo Stripe leggings from Nasty Gal; Foley + Corinna bag
(won from
Bag Snob); Target fringe scarf; UGG boots; Thrifted sweater

Happy New Year, I hope you all had a great New Years Eve! I kept it low-key this year, the BF and I ordered takeout Indian food and watched TV all night. It was nice, hopefully that means the rest of the year will be relaxing (and filled with Indian food?). How did you ring in the new year? Here's to a fabulous 2011!

Christmas Wish List

A while back, I wrote my dream Xmas list, which included some unreleased Balmain dresses and crazy-expensive shoes. However, since I am not Sarah Jessica Parker, I doubt I'll end up with any Balmain under my tree. So here's my attempt at a more reasonable Christmas wish list - well, at least (almost) everything is under $300!

Foley + Corinna Classic City Tote in Glitter

I saw this at Saks the other day, and it is so incredible soft and supple and... *swoon*. The gold sparkly color is exactly what my winter wardrobe needs. Must have!
