I'm so excited to announce my collaboration with the lovely ladies at Nicole Miller! They sent over this beautiful bag for me to style with four different outfits over the next few days - the possibilities are endless! Furla Candy Bag

Another day, another obsession. Today I'm craving the Furla Candy bags (like everybody else!). I'm still not 100% decided on a color, right now I'm leaning towards blue. Blue is one of the harder colors to find online, but Dillards has it in stock right now - hurry if you want one, I'm sure they'll be sold out in no time! What do you guys think of the Candy bag - are you into clear neon PVC bags this summer? And what color is your favorite?

"I have an addiction, sir!"

Quick pic of my new-to-me vintage Chanel backpack... I know I shouldn't have, but I couldn't help myself. Shopping is a legitimate addiction! I've also recently acquired the vintage necklace and bracelet shown above, as well as these *amazing* sunglasses from Seventh Door. What are some of your recent buys? Help me feel like less of an addict!

Lena Erziak

And my infatuation with seafoam green continues! The above bag is the Paolo by Lena Erziak, and it is my latest obsession. The gold chains, the slouchy shape, the tassel... *swoon*! And the Paulo is just one of many swoon-worthy bags in the Lena Erziak Summer 2010 collection!

Leona and Hasna Erziak are the creators of Lena Erziak bags, and their designs have been featured in Life & Style, People, and Audrey Magazine, as well as online at Refinery29.com and PaperMag.com. The sisters site their multi-cultural family and regular travels around the world as major sources of inspiration for their bags, which are hand made in Italy. I had the hardest time picking just a few bags to show you, because I honestly love them all! So I highly recommend checking out LenaErziak.com to view the whole Summer 2010 collection, as well as Fall 2009.

vert d'eau

Top: American Apparel
Jeans: Hudson
Boots: Nine West
Bag: Balenciaga
Scarf + Earrings: Urban Outfitters

The color of January is vert d'eau (sounds so pretty in French, doesn't it?)! I've recently acquired a vert d'eau Balenciaga (used, but in amazing shape!) and American Apparel nail polish in office, and I'm falling in love with the contrast of mint green against blacks and greys. Next up I'll be ordering some aqua-colored eyeliner from Urban Decay - I can't wait to see what that looks like on! I am definitely not a bright makeup kind of person, but I really want to try it out. Have you all experimented with colorful eyeliners before? I'd love some tips on how to make it work!

AA nail polish in office; Urban Decay eyeshadow in flipside; Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in flipside; ModCloth Hint of Mint tights; Yves Saint Laurent Arty Ovale Ring; Michelle Roy Peace Sign Stretch Ring; Nasty Gal Vintage The Mint Knit sweater

I had to include the blogger-fav YSL arty ring, but for those of us who can't afford $200+ rings, definitely check out Michelle Roy - adorable stuff for around $35!

Leopard and Lace and Rodarte, oh my!

(I look *so* tired here! Ignore my face, look at the pretty dress!)
Dress: Rodarte for Target
Bag: Jalda
Boots: Alice + Olivia for Payless
Rings: Elizabeth & James, mark., Amrita Singh

Check your local Target's, Rodarte is out! At least, the first round is. I picked up this leopard print dress, and I also spotted the sheer peach dress with bows on the shoulders (also comes in black), the leopard sequin sleeveless dress, the spider-weby cardigans, and some boring tees.

As for the dress I bought, I'm 95% in love with it. The fit is super small - I ended up with a size 9 and probably could have gone up to an 11. Also, there are three bows on the back that you have to snap open and closed to get the dress on and off. They're a pain and sort of gaudy, but I don't have the guts to chop them off just yet. I might though... still
pondering it. Otherwise, in my opinion this dress is really well made, and looks a lot more expensive than $45! It has a black slip sewn in, and the leopard part is lacy - I took a close up pic (below) because it's kind of hard to describe.

Still waiting on the sheer light blue dress - anyone spotted that one in their local Target? And have you bought any Rodarte for Target yet? The official release date at Target.com is this Sunday! Let me know what you've bought or are planning on buying!

(Also, may I present to you my new Jalda bag! I won it from Bag Bliss - thanks so much Jennifer!)

Elly Clay handbags

I've been searching for the perfect *affordable* everyday bag for what seems like eons and I finally think my search is over, thanks to Elly Clay! Elly Clay handbags are 100% leather, feature spacious designs with tons of compartments, and most importantly start at just $200!

NYC-based Elly Clay is designed by
Crystal Haylett, who
prides herself on creating useful, sturdy, everyday handbags that are also chic and fun! The designs are inspired by "urban chic, street style, art and culture of busy New York lifestyles". This leads to studs, fringe, heavy hardware, and other design elements you won't find in too many other bags in this price range!

My personal fav is the Chainlink Hobo (top left) which is constructed using glazed calf leather and embossed croc stamped leather, and features a handwoven chain link strap and tons of compartments (which is a necessity in all of my bags, otherwise I can't find a thing!). I especially love the chocolaty brown color, and I'm usually a black handbag kinda girl! If you'd like to check out the bags in more detail or learn more about Elly Clay, check out the website or follow Elly Clay on Twitter!

Fullum & Holt: Bags for Keeps!

I've never really been a handbag girl, as you have probably noticed by the lack of any bags in my outfit posts or the Currently Cravings, but every once in a while a brand catches my eye and makes me rethink my philosophy of shoes over bags. Fullum & Holt is just that brand!

Fullum & Holt is a Montreal-based leather goods company that has been around for 111 years(!). Until recently, Fullum & Holt specialized in producing leather bags and accessories for brands such as Alexander Wang and Ralph Lauren, but this year for the first time ever they are producing their own handbag line under the name Fullum & Holt, with prices ranging from $480-$720.

Creative Director Morgan Lackman is the third generation of his family to stand at the helm of the company. Lackman says that:

"The woman who carries a Fullum & Holt handbag appreciates quality. Because she is always on the go, she wants a well-made bag – but she also doesn’t want to sacrifice style for her busy schedule. So whether she’s biking to work, jetting off on a weekend trip, or going straight from the office to an evening out, we have a Fullum & Holt bag for her."
Fullum & Holt definitely has a bag for me! I've already fallen head-over-heels in love with the Messenger, the Duffel, and the Ribbed Tote (all shown below). You can check out those designs and more at the Fullum Boutique!
