Festival High

I'm not entirely sold on "flatforms" but these ones by Jeffrey Campbell have me wanting to
at least try on a pair. They do seem comfortable, right? Definitely the kind of shoes you could slop around in all summer without killing your feet too badly. But what do you all think about flatforms - awesome or awful? Have I just been so overexposed to them that I've lost my mind?

PS - Happy Easter to those who celebrate it!

i think i'm pretty much in the same boat... i'm very curious... but i've definitely seen styles that i think would work. i like the ones that have an ankle strap of sorts... like the jeffrey campbell paige...

love this look though!

I say fully awesome. they look like feet killers but I mean, the look is kind of incredible and worth the pain. loving this look!

Perfect summer outfit!
They look pretty, the only thing that scares me is the ankle twist, must be an absolute killer

i'm not a big fan of them... i prefer real platforms. They look old, like from the 70's or 80's
i'd go for that skirt with a flat sandal, a gipsy stile

Not sure if these shoes bend when walking though. I'd give them a try.

I'm not 100% sold on flatforms either but I'd like to try a pair, I have a feeling though they'd make my feet look horrendous.

I wasn't sold on flatforms when I've seen images of them online, but then yesterday I saw them in person in Topshop and I was pleasantly converted! ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

I actually am convinced on the platforms. At first I thought they were tacky but now I absolutely love them. I'm trying to seek a pair that I really like! xoxo

i actually bought a pair of flatforms .. they were pretty pricey and they are less comfortable than what they seem . the soles are not flexible enough and too tall to really be comfortable . ive hurt my ankles a lot so far .

they look pretty amazing though

I'm not entirely sold on "flatforms" either... They remind me a little of my childhood obsession with Spice Girl shoes that wasn't good for anyone...

But the ones you posted really aren't bad, in fact, they're rather pretty. So I'm torn...

As much as I love Platforms, I'm pretty ehhh on flatforms. They remind me of the platform sketchers I had in 6th grade too much. These JC's aren't bad (and I know you loooove your Jeffrey C), but I think you could do better!

Love that maxi skirt. It's beautiful. In terms of platforms, I think some women and some designers can pull it off. Jeffrey Campbell is one of the few. They are growing on me though.

Ya, I am not on the flatform bandwagon. I just can't imagine them being flattering! That maxi skirt on the other hand - I'm totally into that!

I kind of think the flatforms would be hard to walk in! I'm interested to read about feedback from bloggers who do buy them. Flatforms aside, um, can I get everything you posted?! LOVE that bag!

I personally find flatforms absolutely awful. They are stumpy and graceless. But I do like platform heels and wedges - anything that doesn't make it look as if you tied a brick to your foot!
