So today was National Cheesecake Day, did you all celebrate? Me and the BF sure did! We went to the Cheesecake Factory and split a Tuxedo Mouse cheesecake, mmmmm was it delicious! Definitely going to have to go for a long jog tomorrow though to work it off! Even though we just went to the Cheesecake Factory I felt like dressing up a bit, so this BB Dakota dress from Chickdowntown got to come out and play. I really love the color of it, but I think it’s a bit too long for me – I kind of feel like Victoria Beckham when I wear it, which I guess isn’t horrible. Check out the zipper on the back too – that’s my favorite part!

Love it, the zipper is amazing! I'm totally into stuff with zippers right now... I might even buy some at the fabric store and add them on to outfits for a more rock n roll vibe.

first of all, color and cut of the dress are gorgeous. I think the problem is that the dress is knee length and you're wearing the kind of shoes that surrender about 6 inches of leg. Either or would work - either hemming the dress or wearing pumps (nude perhaps) that don't truncate your leg at the ankle. Or you could do both for some major leg :) cute blog ps.
