I love that Spring collections are in stores! I know that January just started but I am so sick of heavy clothes and dark colors. Bring on the light colors and breezy skirts and dresses! In particular, I'm loving the Chloé Spring 2009 ready-to-wear collection. The pieces are casual and chic, light and breezy, and cinched with bows (my favorite!). And have you seen the shoes and purses? The Paratay bag (pictured below) has already become a huge hit with celebrities like Katie Holmes and Charlize Theron. Hannah MacGibbon, the new head of Chloé, said that she hoped to de-complicate fashion for young women through this collection. Do you think she accomplished that?

the scalloped skirt is so sweet, i love it :)
the collection overall is very simple and but beautiful -- i think de-complicating fashion for young women was a good way to put it and they definitely achieved that.
