I took these pictures over the course of a day in the life of an unemployed NYC girl (but hopefully not for much longer!). After messing around taking pics in the hallway of our apartment building, the BF and I decided to walk downtown to check out the Christmas decorations in midtown -- this may or may not have been a horrible decision considering I was wearing 6-inch-high heels. Still, Manhattan is beautiful this time of the year, and the Christmas lights were (almost) enough to make me forget the pain in my feet!

Amazing shots. What kind of camera do you use?
@RawrRajahRawr - Thank you so much! I just use a cheap little point and click camera that I've had forever, it's a Sony Cybershot. I would *love* to own a Canon Rebel... but I know nothing about cameras, so it would be wasted on me!
The lights are so beautiful, it makes me wish I could be there to see them in person! Ah, memories of SJP's Bitten line! Love your smile!
Those NYC pictures are beautiful and I would love to visit this time of year. I could only imagine how crazy the energy is. Very cute outfit for checking out the decorations!
MY! what gorgeous teeth you have!!
Ahh Christmas in New York...I should take a day trip before Christmas comes...problem is I have no time XD

I love NYC at the Christmas time - I wish I could spend more time there over the holidays! And I can't believe you walked around in those heels - I would have died.

I thought those shoes were comfy to walk in because they had such a high platform? But I guess any shoes after several hours are torture. Your holiday windows are so festive, it's okay here in SF but it doesnt compare. Maybe that's why I'm in a holiday spirit funk.
Fantastic photos! This is one of my favorite times of the year
Your photos are beautiful. Nothing says Christmas time like NYC!
i still can't master heels so i am a little jealous you even attempted it haha
