Happy Halloween everybody! What did you dress up as this year? The BF and I are staying low key, we're bumming around our apartment semi dressed up as Ronnie and Sammi from the Jersey Shore - we just lack the tans and the muscles, hah!
I found these pics while looking through old files on my computer - they're from one of the first times I went down to Soho. I'd still wear this outfit for the fall, I'd just add a pair of chunky knit tights under the dress and a scarf over the jacket. How do you all accessorize your outfits to take them from summer into winter?
I don't know if I've announced this on the blog, but I'm on a shopping ban. With rent, buying furniture, and working an unpaid internship, I have absolutely no money to spend on fun things like clothes and shoes. But that doesn't mean I can't dream! If I did have any spare change, I would put it all towards the Ego and Greed wedges above - any color would do. What is your dream purchase right now?

Hi guys! I'm still in NYC, yay! I found an apartment on the UWS and moved in about two weeks ago (Zabar's Zombies!). I went from a furnished sublet to an unfurnished apartment, and I've been devoting all of my free time to finding furniture and trying to make this new place my home. I would love any tips on where to look for cute and cheap housewares!
Also, I've been interning at Lovelyish, the Xanga fashion and pop culture blog. I write eight to ten articles per week for them, and it's definitely the most fun I've ever had in an internship! I'm also toying with the idea of applying for grad school next year, but that's still very much up in the air...
So what have you all been up to? I miss you guys! I just got internet installed in my new place so I have plans to spend much of this weekend reading all of your blogs and catching up on your lives!
