These pictures were taken the other day on the High Line in Chelsea. The High Line is a park built on a former abandoned raised railroad line. It's soooo beautiful there, you have views of the Empire State Building and NY skyline on one side and the Hudson River on the other. Also, it doesn't hurt that there is amazing shopping on the streets below. I definitely wouldn't mind moving down to Chelsea after my lease is finished!

Central Park West

We spent this past Sunday on the Upper West Side, walking through Central Park, drinking iced coffees, and eating too many cupcakes at Magnolias. I've developed an addiction to their red velvet cupcakes after trying them just once. So good! Nothing is better than wandering around the city on a sunny day with nothing to do.

This bag is a sample from the Fall 2011 collection and I really hope it makes it to retail - I fell in love with this bag over the past week! I have to give a huge thank you to the ladies over at Nicole Miller for asking me to be a part of this project - what a fun collaboration! I hope to keep working with you all in the future!

Bike Chain

I'm so excited to announce my collaboration with the lovely ladies at Nicole Miller! They sent over this beautiful bag for me to style with four different outfits over the next few days - the possibilities are endless! These Diane von Furstenberg sunglasses were one of my birthday gifts - it was about time I give my Burberry's a rest! So thank you Mom and Dad for knowing exactly what I needed and would love! The H&M dress is a birthday gift from the BF - he also has been traveling all throughout the city patiently shopping with me these past few days, which has been the best gift of all!

And I had my first celebrity sighting this weekend - Ted Danson! The BF was definitely more excited about this than I was... I'm still hoping to see an Olsen!

Morningside Park Turtles

The BF and I have been busy exploring our new neighborhood - today we wandered uptown around the Columbia University area, shopped at a farmer's market, and stumbled upon a turtle pond in Morningside Park! There was literally about 50 turtles in the pond, it was the cutest thing ever.

I also started my internship this past Thursday, and I'm loving it so far! I get to work surrounded by hand-sewn and beaded couture gowns worn by celebs including Carrie Underwood and Beyonce. I'll definitely let you all know if I have any celebrity spottings in the office!
