Brick Walls and Beers

Thrifted denim top; Siwy shorts; Minnetonka moccasins; Vintage belt and necklace;
Feather earrings from ebay; Forever 21 ring

Tonight the BF and I went to an Indian restaurant, ordered wayyyyy too much food, stuffed our faces until we both felt a little dizzy, and still had 3 boxes of leftovers to bring home. I'd call it a successful dinner! And in case you were wondering, my diet is going great, thanks! Haha :)

Afterward, we stopped by a little bar near my house, watched the end of a singing/guitar playing college kid's performance, and consumed even more calories. We were able to snap a couple shots between beers, I'm not sure if they're blog-worthy but I kinda liked how vivid the colors came out.

And on another note, I'm doing a closet cleanout this week, and listing a ton of stuff on ebay - click here to check it out!

Currently Craving: Sacre Blair!

Gossip Girl is back September 13th! Can you wait? I definitely can't, I'm such an addict - I've watched the Season 4 trailer at least 100 times since it was released last week. Sacre Blair! Dan au pair! And most importantly, vive le Chuck!!

Predictably, I'm already craving everything Blair Waldorf is wearing in the 1-minute trailer, especially the nowhere-to-be-found-online Moschino Cherry-Print dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. But even if I could find it somewhere (anywhere!), I don't have the $4000 laying around to buy one dress... *le sigh*!

If you haven't already seen it, check out the trailer for Season 4 of Gossip Girl below!

***Don't forget to enter to win a shredded tee from Urban Revisions - ends Monday night at midnight!***

Fade to Green

Thrifted Lucky Brand maxi dress; Jessica Simpson Dany platforms;
Vintage belt, necklaces, and bracelet; Forever 21 and Amrita Singh rings

I'm trying to get some sunshine pictures in before Fall comes and everything turns gray for 8+ months! The one thing I love most about summer is the sunshine, and I really do want to take as much advantage of it as I can before my favorite season comes and sunlight becomes scarce.

Would you believe it if I told you this entire outfit (minus the shoes) cost ~$10? The dress was a $2 garage sale find, and the belt cost $5 at an estate sale. Both necklaces and the bracelet were
bought off ebay in jewelry lots, so I probably paid less than $1 for each piece. I know it's a little dweeby, but I really love the thrill of finding a gem in the midst of tons of trash! The shoes cost a little bit more, but ohhhhh are they worth it! I think I'm in love with them - at least, now that I've broken them in a bit.

Also, don't forget to enter my giveaway this week - a shredded tee from Urban Revisions!

Vintage Loves

If you knew me in "real life" (aka how I dress day-to-day), you would know the majority of my wardrobe is composed of two things - vintage and Free People. That's why when I got an email from Free People today informing me of their new vintage collection, I just about passed out with joy - and I definitely wasn't disappointed once I clicked over to their store! The Vintage Loves collection at Free People is filled with one of a kind, handpicked items divided up into three collections - the hippie collection, the lace collection, and the denim collection. Check out their stock here!

Buy it now

Just a few things up on ebay right now that I'm pretty sure my life won't be complete without. I mean, a giant gold goat necklace? How can I go on without that hanging around my neck? And I've been dreaming about owning a pair of Chloe Docs for years, but unfortunately these ones I found aren't my size. Starting at just $250 though - I hope one of you out there can take advantage!

I'm also selling a few things on ebay too - check them out here!

Casual Sunday

Vintage tee, DIY shorts (from an old pair of Steve & Barry's jeans), Havaianas flip flops,
Vintage necklaces and bracelet, Forever 21 and Amrita Singh rings, Burberry sunglasses

On Sunday, the BF and I woke up early (well, early for us) and did the whole Sunday brunch thing - breakfast sandwiches and smoothies at a coffee shop, sitting outside in the sun. It was a perfect day, not too hot, with a nice breeze... the kind of day that actually kinda makes me love summertime. Afterward, we stopped by Village Gate to shop, but all of the stores were closed for the day - not that I blame the owners! It was too beautiful of a day to be stuck inside. Hope you all had an equally fabulous weekend!
