I was watching Almost Famous last night (it's on youtube, watch it before they take it down!), and it got me thinking. My main resolution this coming year is going to be to whittle my wardrobe down to a few key pieces that would all fit in a suitcase if needed. I have wayyyyy too many clothes and shoes (especially shoes!) that just sit in my closet collecting dust, and they should go to people who would wear and love them!

this is definitely in my top 10 favorite movies :) i'm in love with the jacket, (free people has a jacket like this called 'almost famous jacket' /or close to that, on sale!!) tempting. and i have given a lot of clothes away as well, too many that i don't need and someone else most definitely does.

Almost Famous is one of those Classic great movies that you return to after a few years and in between. Happy New Years Resolutions :-)

2 things to add here: first, I've never seen Almost Famous - and I own it. How sad is that?! Second, I've always been a tad wary of 30 x 30 challenges, I'm by no means a minimalist. However, over the past few days I've been living on a scaled down wardrobe (I'm moving so everything is already boxed up) I have to tell you, it's so much easier! I haven't had any "I have nothing to wear" drama, but I haven't sacrificed being stylish either. I say do a massive closet clean out, it's hard at the time, but the results are worth it!
