I promised I would show off my Isabella Oliver top, and I am a woman of my word! Isn't it beautiful? The construction is just incredible, the sleeves drape beautifully, and it is made of the softest silk I have ever felt! I'm completely swooning over it. I can't wait until I have a more formal occasion to wear it at, it would be so beautiful with a tight black skirt and some ladylike heels. I couldn't find this exact shirt on the Isabella Oliver website, but there are similar ones here.
On another note, I have a question for all my readers. If you had $100 that you could only spend on shoes, would you go for comfortable/durable/slightly boring shoes that you know you would wear almost every day, or fabulous/sky-high/most likely uncomfortable shoes that you would probably only wear a few times? Discuss!

That's a good question. Considering the shoes are only $100, they'll be good quality but not the best. I would go with a daring pair of stilletos or booties that will last a couple years, rather than a versatile pair of boots or flats that will last much longer.

love love love those boots xoxox
LOVE the top
I was thinking about buying those A+O shoes too!!! but I wasn't sure how they looked in real life! they look awesome on you.
If i had $100, i would buy boring durable shoes (ie my black pumps that i wear ALL the time, boring but still matches EVERYTHING i wear).
BUT if i had $1000 I would buy one pair of fabulous heels.
Cute top!
And I would definitely buy some crazy shoes that I would only wear every once in a while. It is always fun when you actually have an opportunity to wear those fun shoes and I love always having new ones!
That top is so pretty!
Any why not comfy/cute shoes that you wear more often than not? :)
love the sleeves on your top .. and hey i put up a post with the necklace if you were interested to see ,, its on my blog right now .
it is a good questions, but im going to be honest and say the fabulous sky high heels, even though i shouldnt! but I know i would haha
Good question...honestly, it would come down to whatever impulse I felt at the time and how many other shoes I have at the ready back home. =P
I adore your top and the boots!! Super cute!

ah, you're trying to spend your shoes.com gc aren't you :)
i always try to find the balance between the comfortable and the awesome, but i usually lean more towards comfort and whatever's going to get me the best cost per wear...
those boots are great! and I love a dolman sleeve...
Fabulous and high and impossible-always
P.S. alsooooooooo do you want to exchange links??? you're already on my blog roll!!! xxxx

I tend towards the durable/slightly boring, because I can wear them to work. But you'll never catch me in Soffit, Clarks, or other truly boring shoes. I keep my sky-high platform purchases to a minimum because I rarely wear them.
I love your top! Very cute and chic. And I'm a bit on the boring side nowadays and I am in a bit of a saving flux, so I'd have to go with the shoes that are good for everyday and more "sensible" for now. Hopefully down the line, I can go for the fab shoes :)
Thanks for all the comments guys, you have all helped so much! And @grechen, you know me too well!
The top looks great!
Haha, and I would definitely go with the durable/boring shoes. To me, it's moreso a matter of what would be most useful.
you look great! i love the exaggerated sleeves on the blouse. i was going for a similar top at H&M. it was silk, had the hugest sleeves, alas i left it on the racks. regret, yes.
hm $100...i'd buy something fabulous or at least something i really love. i do usually go for comfort over style, but they often overlap too!
I'd get some fabulous fall boots with outrageous heels. I have enough comfy shoes to last a lifetime.:)
I've missed your blog! I've had scheduled posts but haven't visited any blogs in about a week, missed a bunch!
That top is perfect, I can picture it with so many things! I love that smile in your 2nd photo :)
