Funkin' Junkie

Sheer dress from Funkin' Junkie Vintage

I just won this sheer gauze dress on ebay from one of my favorite stores, Funkin' Junkie Vintage. It's peach color with a touch of embroidery around the top and a flowy silhouette - a pretty great blank slate piece. But I'd like to ask you all for your advice. How would you style this dress? Would you play up the bohemian aspect of it and add turquoise jewelry, a floppy hat, and some giant wooden platforms (like Funkin' Junkie)? Or would you go more of an Alexa Chung route and add a structured bag and mary janes? I'd love to hear all the ways you guys would style this basic dress - mostly because I'm broke and I'll have to be wearing it over and over all summer long!

And here are a few pieces that are still available at Funkin' Junkie for my fellow vintage-aholics (don't want you to feel left out of the shopping spree!):

Oversized crochet sweater; Sheer paisley skirt; Cutout velvet top; Grecian maxi dress

Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody! And Happy Birthday to my wonderful BF! :)

i love floppy hat!!!

but id probably wear hair down with chunky bracelts or fun rings instead of a necklace since the neckline is already amazing! then totally rock it with socks and platforms! :)

love it!!!

I would do a little of both to be honest. Rocking the boho vibe sometimes and then other days edging it up by adding black and knee highs and all that good stuff.

Lovely lovely dress, I'd definitely go the boho route, with tons of jewelry, that would be summertime perfection!
